WEATHER DELAYS,

CANCELLATIONS, & EARLY OUTS

KOEL AM 95O - KWWL TV 7 - KCRG TV 9

When school is canceled or starting late because of weather, students, and parents are notified over KOEL radio 950AM, KWWL TV 7, and KCRG TV 9. There will be a plan "A" and "B" for late starts. These plans are the hours in which school will start with on these special days. The missed days will be made up at a later date.

If school is dismissed because of inclement weather after the school day has begun, parents are notified by the same means (local stations). The superintendent determines whether buses will follow the regular routes. If buses do not follow regular routes, they will follow emergency routes which will be published in the Fayette Leader and sent home with students.

Extracurricular activities or practices scheduled for the day or evening when school is canceled or dismissed early are generally cancelled or re-scheduled. The superintendent determines whether to hold extracrricular activities or practies. Most times, practices may be held but are let out early. If the extracurricular activity is to be held, students and parents will be notified.
