ISASP (Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress aka state-required tests)
Link to ISASP Test Preparation https://iowa.pearsonaccess.com/test-prep/(This is the same link that we have practiced in the last two weeks)
Please have good attendance next week. These are required tests and if you are gone, you still have to make them up.
Expectation Reminders:
*Cell phones and any watches need to go in backpacks on the floor. Per state testing rules, no students are allowed to have cell phones out or on you. They will be taken to the office if you are caught with a phone or watch during testing.
*Bags are to remain zipped and on the floor during testing.
*You will login in through the Test Nav app and then will be given a testing ticket with your login information. This ticket will need to be given back to your teacher at the end of the class.
*Stay on the Test Nav app and do not leave until the test finished. The testing system will get a notification at the TestNav headquarters if you try to navigate away, it will not allow you to. This is taken very seriously. If there is any concern of cheating, it is reported to the state board of education and an investigation takes place. They are able to monitor your screen for irregularities during testing and take this incredibly seriously.
*Do your best - these results help us see academic progress and are used to compare your progress with students across the state.
*Relax, breathe, and do your best.
Testing Tips:
-Get enough sleep each night (you need 8-12 hours of sleep each night)
-Set an alarm to wake up on time to prevent the extra stress of running late
-Eat a nutritious breakfast
-Bring a water bottle
-Breath and read the directions before selecting answers
-Do your best!
-Finally - Remember to utilize the built-in features (crossing off, read to you, volume, calculator, etc.)
